PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARDS TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Information on how to enter form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
This competition is open to all Latrobe City businesses.
People’s Choice Awards Committee members are ineligible to vote. Businesses in Latrobe City who wish to partake in being nominated for the People’s Choice Awards and are in some way affiliated with a committee member/s are eligible to participate in the competition.
Competition commences on 1st April 2017 and closes 31st May 2017 (the ‘promotion period’)
To vote, persons must enter details as stipulated by ‘People’s Choice Awards’ website (www.lcbta.org.au) during the promotion period and they will be entered into the competition. By entering your details, you warrant that your comments are accurate and not misleading or deceptive in any way.
Only one vote per person per business is allowed, but a person may vote for one business in each category.
Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
Vote counting is conducted by a third party
Voting starts at 1st April 2017 and closes at midnight 31st May 2017.
The 2017 Awards Gala will be held on Tuesday 18th July 2017 at The Premier Function Centre Traralgon.
The finalists will be notified by e-mail and/or phone and published on lcbta.org.au and LCBTA social media sites. Finalists will be able to purchase tickets online from www.lcbta.org.au
All finalists are expected to supply a short blurb describing their business and be available for a videographer to attend their business to take a short clip of the business for promotional purposes and use on the Awards night.
The Promoter’s decision is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify the entrant; or (b) subject any written directions from a regular authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
The Promoter is Latrobe City Business Tourism Association Inc
The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties. Entry is conditional on providing this information. Name, address and email details of entrants may be used as a mailing list for future promotions and Marketing carried out by the Promoter, including via electronic messages and telephoning the entrant. Entrants can request to access, update or correct information or request not to receive information about future promotions by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
By entering this competition, you give the Promoter an irrevocable, royalty free, worldwide, perpetual licence to use, publish, reproduce or edit any material you submit to the website (www.lcbta.org.au) as the Promoter sees fit and for any edited version of that material. You agree not to make any claim for breach of copyright or moral rights in such material. The Promoter reserves the right at all times to monitor, remove, amend, edit, retain and/or disclose any information as necessary to satisfy any perceived applicable obligation, agreement, law, regulation, process or government request.
